so much for dumping Texas.... fuckers

Scratch that, there are two books out and another being written.

I'm going to wait until he completes the trilogy before I get started.

This is a new series, right? I've read what I believe are the first two (forget the title but it was compelling), and have looked for sequels for a while, then gave up. His prose is magnificent. One descriptive sentence from one of the middle books has stayed with me for years, simply because of its elegance: "Torn fragments of wind flapped across the campsite." The imagery was flawless; you could see and feel yourself right there. This wasn't isolated, but was so representative of his prose that I remember it well.

The UNBELIEVER!!

LOVE those books, But I read that the lastest series is going to be 4 books, not 3.

Can you imagine?

Get Peter Jackson to do to "The Land" what he did for LOTR!!

How sweet would that be?

nope not me.

Also enjoy winning for once, I know you guys aren't used to it.

Right, well, who else has the authority and would actually use it?

Anyway, I can't figure out how we drop 6 games to shitty teams like the Royals, Twins, and White Sox, and then play the Red Sox and win the damn series!! What a bizarre sport baseball can be...

My best time is early morning and late nights, so I like having my house out here.

I lived in Atlanta for a few years. The drivers were nuts.

To each their own.

I've had several real nice job offers in Atlanta that I turned down because I new that it would mean 2 to 3 hours of commuting a day. Lifes to short for that.

Haha... I like living in the city and driving to the lake for play. :)

I'm also single with no kids so suburban life may appeal to me one day but not right now.

Other way around is definitely better - suburban life is by far tops. Of course, my hometown suburb is so close to Seattle city limits that it was of no inconvenience to drive to Seattle for a good time...
