then why was he paid 100k for each of 2000 and 2001
 
At issue, isn't the question of whether Mittens had the time to oversee the day to day workings of his company, Bain.

It isn't that he was the CEO, and sole stockholder, even as he was in Utah working on the Olympics.

At issue, is that he profitted from the outsourcing of jobs, and the massive destruction of companies on his path to wealth.


Anything that happened during his tenure, whether he was 'hands on' or not, put money into his pockets at the expense of the middle class.

A recent article in Fortune magazine declared that the Democrats’ claim about Romney “lying to the SEC is absurd, since the SEC doesn’t require an owner to be the operational decision-maker.”

those articles were written before it came out that mitty was working for bain in 2000 and 2001

What was Mitt's motive for either mistating the truth to the American people or to the SEC?

All I can tell you is that none of the left's usual fact checking sources dispute Romney's claims on this matter. So I think it is a real dishonest stretch by the Obama campaign...

Well, two reasons...

1. You are buying lock, stock, and barrel, the Obama campaigns lies on the matter, to the point of parroting their very tag line on the issue.

2. There is always more than an 'either/or' to any situation....

i disagree so i guess we must agree to disagree

perhaps more data will be forthcoming and we can find out what really happened

there is a further claim (source cnn live) that mitty flew periodically to consult at bain while he was working for the olympics

so i guess we will find out which is correct, mits claim or bain's sec filings

something is wrong in the claims somewhere
