He offered posturing. He addressed none of the manufacturing or housing crises in fact he got people kicked out of housing. He pumped people with that "Hope and Change" baloney then went missing in action preferring to adopt the easy route of progressive hotpoints like Clock Boy or Trayvon Martin rather than the more prosaic but fundamental issues of housing and employment.

This all hurt the average black person. He was too busy ginning up a sense of deprived dis-entitlement because he could feed off that as "Their President".

Slogans. Catchphrases. Posturing.

His treatment of Rodman was something to behold. Obama, the clever, College Educated President was never going to listen to some NBA bum. That was beneath him. Just that incident alone should be putting people wise to him. And it's not like Rodman was telling people to buy Nikes made in Vietnam and telling them that the USA was a bad bad place. Hell, if he had, he'd have gotten an audience with Barry AND Michelle at the same time.
