Surely they’ll all jump right away saying they want DeSantis, again claiming they never really liked Trump, seen that one a hundred times, but when Donald gets out there on the campaign trail belittling and mocking DeSantis like he does all his opponents, and which the base just loves, how will their feelings change?

Can DeSantis outTrump Trump, or even keep up with him once Trump kicks it into high gear?

But the question remains, who are they going to support going into the primaries. Don’t believe DeSantis can outTrump Trump. Cruz, Rubio, Paul, Christie, Carson, Bush, Kasich, Fiorina, none of them could even come close last time, and a few of them aren’t famous for being cordial nor polite.

It is Trump’s ridiculing his opponents schtick that the base loves, and DeSantis has never been in the arena with a guy like Trump, so where are the faithful going when the direct insults start?

DeSantis is too filtered and sneaky about his bigotry and doesn't call for violence against his enemies. Not what they're looking for. No, the MAGAs will stick with trump and try do as he commands. They still think he's president.
