Trump claimed we had already won the war.
He won it in his mind, and if you never state the goal, you can always claim victory.
The facts remain, now Iran is in ruins, massive destruction will result in another generation of hate toward the West. He wont stop, because if he did, there would be a huge obvious mess (both politically and practically) left behind that will only need to be dealt with later.
The Idiot President is a fitting subtitle for this President.
He also claimed the Iranian nuclear program was totally obliterated before claiming they were within two weeks of nuking the US. Weird!

I believe what has happened is that the old Republican party imploded, when The PP took over. He is a dog whistle for some, and those who simply were always Republicans stayed. Once he is gone, the Nation will take a giant leap forward, because it will be the end of the death throes of their dead ideology.
I am expecting a Giant leap of progress in the next 4 years, the old line Conservative America is gone. It's now the Democrats v. the Populists.
