Sounds to me that Thor is claiming that, if Congress won't remove Trump from office, he suggests that the only way is for a single patriot to step up and remove him from office. Claiming that he doesn't think that there is a legal means available, pretty much is the definition of assassinating a sitting president in my book. It doesn't much sound like Thor had a political solution in mind when he said that his suggestion "could ring down incredible heat" on him. Beck got suspended for agreeing with Thor's violent suggestion.

If a president assumes extralegal powers, extralegal means of removing him (such as a coup) are justified. Democracy has a right to exist.
