Simema leaves Democratic party

Attention whore. This isn't a surprise.

She'll still vote for higher Pharma prices, and no taxes on billionaires.

It should be easier to unseat her in the future.

After the Arizona mid-terms results in November, it will be easy to beat or replace Simema now?!! She is not poplar in Arizona either and is a very bad senator too?!!

Good! You Democrats start attacking her. that is a smart thing to do!

They are not attacking her fucking idiot

I am

She has no idea who I am or what I say

Of course they will be respectful to her

They are not as stupid as republicans who went rino hunting

Fucking dolt

She put out a sign today that says buy me

She knows republicans will be tongue out chasing her ass with checks in their hands

It’s what republicans do

This just codifies how she thinks. She has been a Dem outlier. She has been in the middle. She is not moving to the Repub party. She is just killing her career.

True, You are just an insignificant little moron!

Althea said "it should be easier to unseat her in the future.". That sure doesn't sound like support to me.

The important question is if she will caucus with the Dems, which is what Bernie does

All that really matters in a tangible sense is that she caucus with Dems (like Bernie doe) so they maintain a 51 seat Parliamentary majority, and she keeps voting for 90 percent of Biden's judicial nominations.

Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema declared as an independent Friday but made clear she intends to continue to caucus with Democrats, maintaining the party’s newly expanded control of the chamber

Sinema has never been much of a Democrat anyway. What's happening now is that there is a tremendous backlash in AZ against the Democrats' successes in the last elections. They overperformed by almost every measure, and AZ Republicans, which are a very particular type of Republican (mostly the ancient MAGA psycho type), are pissed. Sinema is only trying to save face -- probably in an attempt to determine whether she can run again in 2024 or not -- and in so doing, has alienated both political parties. She might gain some favor with true independents, but I don't think there are enough of those in AZ to elect anyone.
