This is some weird class stupidity. Oil tanker crews do not decide whether they will go through the Strait, that would be owners, and indirectly reinsurers.
Insurers are making it plain, they will not cover ships that enter the strait.
It goes to prove that MAGA is a mental disease.
They cannot cover ships in the Strait. It would destroy them.
...and those owners can't force sailors to put their lives in danger. This is why sailors "jump ship".
If a tanker is sunk in the right part of the channel, it will be blocked for months not to mention creating an ecological disaster....not that MAGAts give a fuck.
