Should we kill our elected reps or judges if they violate the constitution?

so we should kill them...?

do you have no respect for the law in this country

yurt, i have great respect for the law in this country, when everyone follows it.

i'm going to say this again, we have an order that we follow in the face of tyranny.

1) soap box (1st Amendment, spread the message)
2) ballot box (vote the bastards out, if you can)
3) jury box (jury nullification of any illegal prosecution if necessary)
4) cartridge box (when all of the above have failed.)

It's not really wise to consider federal crimes publicly.

You boys take your revolution offline. Now go on, git.

what tyranny is gifford guilty of?

further, you cannot have respect for the law if you believe we should kill people simply for violating the constitution. should we have such a system of government, we would fail immediately and descend into chaos. i truly can't believe you're advocating such nonsense.

I agree with this, and I don't think that makes either of us extremists. Anyone who believes otherwise needs to seriously examine the history of our country.

If your rep violates the constitution, what is your first course of action?

No, I'll work to vote them out of office in accord with my Constitutional duty and rights.

It has come down to violence because of a disturbed young man who, it appears, thinks it's OK to murder a public official.

great. you've followed steps 1 and 2. what if they don't work?

We should kill STY. STY has forfeited his right to live.

I shall be the Jack Ruby to the conservative monster who shot Giffords. I shall enjoy so much watching him beg for his life as I drain the life out of him.

The reason the right to revolution is an idiotic right is that it can be used just as easily by the proponents of humanity as the opponents of humanity, as aptly demonstrated here. Those who oppose freedom shot Gifford.

Then you accept the will of the people! You continue to work against the public official for the next election cycle...

THAT is Constitutional...murdering them because you didn't get your way is CRIMINAL!

If the will of the people clearly goes against the constitution, just roll with it?

It's kind of dumb anyway. If we just gave anyone the ability to murder any elected official they wanted because said official did something that didn't mesh with the individual in question's interpretation of the constitution, there'd be chaos.
