Not because I think the sanctions have done any good or are doing any good, but just because Liberal (and Libertarian) asswipes WANT them to be lifted. 8 years ago, I would have probably gone along with the idea, no problem... but the Che t-shirts, and Liberals promoting Fidel Castro to almost heroic status, has changed my opinion. I personally don't care anymore about Liberal, Libertarian, Conservative, Democrat or Republican. I've lost all faith in labels, I care about AMERICA. I want to return to the exceptional status of old, and I know that can only happen at the ballot box, by electing people who understand and comprehend American Exceptionalism, and not by attempting to have dialogue with a bunch of bed-wetters on a message board, who are only interested in their personal ideologies and emotive feelings.

You see, I no longer take the discourse on this board seriously. It is nothing more than an amusing (sometimes) diversion from the reality of what is happening in the world around us. It has become somewhat of a "game" being played, with "teams" being cheered and rooted for, with no concept of what is best for the nation or any inkling of bipartisanship or compromise.
