We have proven that we can destroy any group that tries to exert power in Iraq. The Iraqi military was much stronger that the JV team that is ISIS. We have in fact contained ISIS's territorial reach in Syria and Iraq.

The only way forward that would justify continued military involvement would include a plan for after the use of force that would lead to a better situation than what currently exists.

Don't be a fucking cretin, I am not justifying anything. Just telling you why, it's not my fault that you are incapable of understanding. The banlieues have been boiling over for many years and all it took was some Muslim clerics telling them it is all the fault of the West and they buy into it. Who was it that said that to defeat an enemy you first have to understand them, certainly not you that's for sure?
