The quality of mercy is not strain'd,
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath. It is twice blest:
It blesseth him that gives and him that takes.
The misplacement of mercy is not a virtue. Many people deserve mercy, and she gets that. Aggressive treatment paid for by us, the taxpayers.
The reality is, many more people are dying of cancer on whom "mercy" would be better placed.
If she's released her treatment is paid by another source
If she's in prison she gets taxpayer-funded treatment. If she's released her treatment is paid by another source, maybe her husband's insurance.

She's still dying no matter what.
Cite the source of this assertion...
Obamacare....another taxpayer funded treatment...
She's 74 and eligible for Medicare.
Which is taxpayer funded. I'm good with her getting aggressive treatment in jail, there is no need for her to be released. Either way we're paying for it.She's 74 and eligible for Medicare.
I disagree.
Sitting in 5x9 cell, knowing you're going to die from cancer is a very fitting punishment.
Let's say I develop breast cancer (men do sometimes) what extra bonus am I going to get? The reality is, people get cancer who aren't in prison and get nothing special when it happens, why give this person something special? She literally helped kill Americans on a terrorist level... and due to a misplaced priority we'll give her freedom she never earned?
It useless to argue with these clowns. Vengeance will ALWAYS trump mercy for them.
Is it standard practice to release any prisoner diagnosed with terminal cancer, or any terminal disease?
It has nothing to do with vengeance. It has everything to do with her serving out her sentence for her crimes. Plain and simple
Yes, that's why leftists are tolerant of Phil Robertsons' marriage, instead of starting threads pretending they are appalled and their morals are outraged.
Actually no.
Murders can get life imprisonment without parole with 3 meals a day, a hot shower and allowed exercise. Some of these killers maimed and torture their victims. Their recourse is life in prison, paid for by taxpayers. So sometimes the punishment does not fit the crime.

Apparently your idea of mercy is limited....
Mercy is giving a killer 3 meals, a shower, medical and dental, an exercise area, schooling both high school and college. That to me is Jesus mercy...
If you take a diseased dying person away and out of prison that in actuality is 1 less person you are merciful to because that person is on their own.
