A majority voted that tolerance should not be extended to militias, or stated that tolerance should be conditional.
A minority believes tolerance of militias (including terrorist ones) should be universal and unconditional.

Gene Simmons, famous front man of the rock group KISS voted for Obama, but is not happy with Obama’s foreign policy or tax policies, economy or Health Care! And he is not shy about saying so.
On a recent FoxNews interview, Simmons was seriously unhappy with Obama’s plans to grab the wealth Simmons has worked so hard to accumulate. He has started a Life Insurance Company called Cool Springs Life to protect the wealth of high-net-worth individuals.
Details were not very forthcoming during the interview, but Simmon’s company has created a way that people with tons of money can avoid paying these higher taxes using a Life Insurance policy as cover.
So, while Obama plans to soak the rich, as predicted, the rich are paying smart lawyers to keep Obama away from their fortunes. Which means that these massive debt loads that the Socialist progressives are putting in place will be financed by … the middle class.

Government totalitarians promote intolerance of any group who dares disagree with their agenda. Therefore, since militia believe in the 2nd amendment, and the brain dead modern liberal mommy-government twits do not, all militia is not to be tolerated.
Be they peaceful law-abiding citizen exercising their literal 2nd Amendment as defined by those who wrote it and the rest of the Bill of Rights, or anti-government anarchist types who peacefully (except in rhetoric) exercise their 2nd Amendment rights, or genuine anti-everyone porridge heads bent on genuine harm, they are all the same to the anti-gun faction. When push comes to shove, the political philosophy of tolerance is only tolerant of other mindless twits who nod in agreement like spastic bobble heads to anything their political masters proclaim.
Answer: Tolerate them all. Arrest and prosecute any and all criminals for their criminal actions, not for being a member of some militia.

i am not particularly worried about militias as none of them could stand up to a modern military unit
if they want to play with weapons and talk nasty or tough, let them until they cross the line from law abiding to criminal
and if they kill some people along the way, well the world is overpopulated
unless a lot of people get mad at the government and take up arms there is no real problem
still voting is better than using weapons, but some militias do not seem to believe in using the ballot box for change, they want change their way right now...at the end of a weapon
if they smarter, they would join the national guard and try to convert other guard members
of course there is a small problem doing it that way, the oath they take to uphold the constitution

"Hate Speech" laws are nothing more than the totalitarians' end run around 1st Amendment protections. Again, they tolerate only those who agree with them. All else is to be stamped out as quickly as possible lest their ways be exposed for the anti-freedom policies they be.
Threats are only illegal if evidence can be brought of intent to follow through - though threats can open the talker up to legal scrutiny. Over use of hate speech laws will only expose the totalitarians for what they are while fanning the flames of rebellion.

what i find hilarious about this viewpoint is the lack of knowledge displayed by someone that thinks this way. Do you have any clue about the demographics of a real life militia? You can bet that at least half are former military. You can also bet that it won't be a military unit that they have to go against. It will most likely be a law enforcement agency, possibly using some military equipment.
If it actually came down to having to face a military unit, that's when you actually need to be afraid, deathly afraid, because all hell breaketh loose. I dearly hope it never comes to that.

i get that you like to make fun of people that don't think like you, but you need to get serious about this issue. If SHTF, it won't be like Waco where the 'crazies' are holed up in a building. It will be out in the streets like iraq and the cops won't know where to go. they will be outmanned and outgunned. and when it happens, it won't stop at just one group. others will join. it will be a bloody and messy disaster on both sides.
