At first I was all for a ground invasion of Gaza but im growing less and less convinced of it now. A ground invasion is going to cause massive casualties for the Israelis and act as a beacon for Lebanon and Syria to attack. It could be said that the invasion is what the enemy is waiting for.
Alternatively Israel can just sit tight. Yes I acknowledge that at this point you probably do lose all the hostages but thats gotta be better than the thousands of casualties you will incur. Right now you can actually hear the panic in the pro palestinian left when they talk about Gaza. This leads me to believe that it wont actually take that long to starve them out.
