It's very similar to people excusing theft by saying they couldn't afford it, or possession of heroine with "I'm addicted to it." They broke the law. Punishment may not be in order, but rectifying the situation is. They're not here legally, so remove them. When a person steals goods they aren't allowed to just keep them.

This is some of what the problem is with America these days, people think that if they don't like a law they don't have to obey it. You see it in marijauna, illegal immigration and most of the traffic laws. Interesting fact, laws are made up of the breakable and unbreakable, you're actually supposed to obey all of them. Don't like a law? Change it, don't ignore it.

What seems to be being ignored here; is that who in the world does everyone think is going to be allowed to stay, to care for these minor children.
They sure as hell aren't going to turn them over to CPS or anyone else. They aren't going to deport the parents and leave the children here alone. NO; what they're going to do is not only allow the illegal minor to stay, but also their parent(s).

Unless all of the supporters of the minors staying would agree that they should be taken from their parents and the parents deported.

That's in the US. International Drivers licenses can be obtained in any country.

A non-citizen (not particularly Mexicans) can obtain an International Drivers License in their home country to visit another country, like the US. Yes, they would need a current license in their country of origin.

Is that so hard to understand or are you just trolling.

this post is so typical of howey idiocy. he first claims that a "non legal" status on a US state driver's license is the SAME as an international license. when i point out to him that he is wrong and that they could not get a US international driver's license, rather, they would have to get an international driver's license in their home country....howey calls me a troll and an idiot or something.

NOW - howey claims that a non citizen does in fact have to an international driver's license from their home country and cannot get a US international driver's license. what we see here is howey not being able to grasp the idiocy or lies of what he spews.

so, howey's original claim that i was trolling is truly laughable as he now admits i was right and he was wrong.
