Should federal troops be policing the states?

nice! You got something right!
It will get quite tedious and time-intensive writing that every time I tell you something that is correct. It will be easier for you to acknowledge when I get something wrong, i.e. you won't have to write anything.

Blah...blah...blah.
That was a short game; you quit early this time. Let me know when you want to play again.

No. Living indoors within a city or water district limits is a privilege and is not a right. While enjoying said privilege, you can be required to own things. Driving is a privilege for which you can be required to own insurance.

You cannot be required to own anything to exercise your 1st Amendment right to free speech, and you can't be required to pay a poll tax to vote.

Any day of the week. It is already considered a foundational doctrine that is rooted in the 10th Amendment.
Unless it's a privilege of living in a state that requires it, obviously. You can make whatever mental gymnastics you want. Facts are you can be required to own things.

You can make whatever mental gymnastics you want.
No mental gymnastics are required. Do you understand the difference between a right and a privilege? Living in a city is a privilege and is not a right. You do not have a right to live in any particular city. If you do decide to live in a particular city, that city can require you to own stuff to "meet code" or what have you. If you need to refer to that as "mental gymnastics" then great, call it what you will.

The people have the inalienable right to keep and bear arms, therefore you cannot be made to own anything to keep and bear arms.

Facts are you can be required to own things.
Not for rights.

Repeatedly calling Trump a liar without having any lies as a basis is obsessive TDS.

Repeatedly claiming that Trump is somehow misusing executive power without having any examples of abuse of executive power to support your claim is obsessive TDS.

You have provided none, as usual, and are lying, as usual, in claiming that you have somehow shown many.

If you were honest to any degree, you would have already provided those examples, rather than lie about having provided many that you didn't.

Trump is following the law to the letter, the law about which you know nothing.

Your examples have to be valid (and real) examples that show injury to the US. Losers like you don't get to merely second-guess Trump's world-class negotiating skills and claim imaginary, subjunctive-fallacy injury by pointing to how it might have otherwise been in some alternate reality that cannot be verified.

Sorry, you don't get to slide the word "doing" in there; you have no examples of any less-than-optimal acts performed by Trump in his official duties as President. All you have is a worthless collection of "Did ya' hear what Trump said? Did ya'? Did ya'? Did ya' hear what Trump said?" and nothing more. To the best of your knowledge, you are not aware of any actions that Trump has taken that drop him to less than BEST PRESIDENT EVAH!
Your ongoing denial and dishonesty is acknowledged.

ZenMode Error. Tariffs are the responsibility of the Federal government. The legislation surrounding tariffs is the responsibility of the Legislative branch. The execution of tariffs, e.g. is the responsibility of the President.

Tariffs are a form of protection for a country, and Congress needs the President to be able to react quickly on behalf of the country, just as Congress needs for the President to be able to react quickly in cases of attacks and other threats to the country.

U.S. Code § 3004(b)(1)(C) — Enactment of Harmonized Tariff Schedule “At the earliest practicable date after August 23, 1988, the President shall— … (C) such technical rectifications as the President considers necessary.”

The President shall protect the US day-by-day, hour-by-hour, by adjusting tariffs as the President considers necessary.
Again...HE declared an emergency. A fake emergency. He did that to justify his actions.

If he inherently had the power, as you are wrongly claiming he does, there would be no need for this fake emergency declaration.

Citation? You may be correct, I do not know any details about this situation, but I do not believe elected officials should be treated any differently than other citizens, if he violated federal criminal law, and the Justice department is enforcing that law other places, it should be enforced against him.

They do not enforce all the laws, so I do not know the details and how the Justice Department handles similar situations.
ignorance
/ĭg′nər-əns/
noun

: The condition of being uneducated, unaware, or uninformed.

: The condition of being ignorant; the lack of knowledge in general, or in relation to a particular subject; the state of being uneducated or uninformed.

: A willful neglect or refusal to acquire knowledge which one may acquire and it is his duty to have.

Don't always be dishonest to protect Trump. The worst states for crime and especially violent crime, are red states. The worst violent crime per capitacities are in southern red states. For some reason, he is not sending troops to New Orleans, Memphis, Birmingham, Jackson and other red cities with higher serious crime problems. It is political. Trump is being political and so are you.
This is not about solving serious crime. If they were interested in doing that, the same number of troops would accomplish more in smaller red cities. So sending the military into American cities is against the law. You do not care and Trump does not care.

No, but they get to vote for those responsible for fixing it, so if that is not their priority or they put their faith in the wrong people, that is the way it works.

Federal court strikes down Trump tariffs as illegal under federal law in appeals ruling

There is a cost. The people have lost their freedom.

NO one has lost their freedoms, except for the criminals who were preying on innocents. If you had a brain, you could comprehend the OBVIOUS.

If the Trump army decides you look "suspicious," you can be hauled off to a prison. Not a court. Not a judge, but a gulag.

That is a dumb lie. Why all the stupid dumb lies?

The president is not allowed to use the military on American streets.

Yet many have. But now, because you're an uneducated brainless dumbass with a severe case of TDS, it's bad.

Trump does not care. He wants total power and he will do what he wants.

You just described the Democratic Party dumb fuck. :palm:

Right and the NFL in DC isn't terrible on its face, but he still claimed there was an emergency that didn't actual exist. He's done the fake emergency things a handful of times.
You only think there is no emergency because you don't live in one of the neighborhoods suffering with criminals.

You're really quite dumb and naive.

the problem comes when you have a group of people who have immunity from their actions when they believe it's in the interest of the public......................when that group starts to abuse the public with protection of law.............what do you do?
A better question is that when leftist political apparatchiks refuse to incarcerate criminals and want to defund the police, what do you do?
