Should a Presidential Cannidate make jokes about killing journalists?

The President of the United States is a man of immense power, the head of the CIA and the FBI, he has the Secret Service at his disposal.

Organizations like the Secret Service, have been abused by leaders to kill and intimidate political opposition in many weaker nations.

Now, we have a popular presidential candidate joking about having reporters killed, because they are "disgusting people".


Trump supporters... thirty percent of the Republican party, are you okay with that?

Will you support such a person for president if he gets the nomination? Its time for responsible Republican leaders to come out and say they will not support such a candidate. This is dangerous and scary stuff, this is what happened over and over again in Russia. Top journalists are being killed today in Russia. This is the type of leader Putin, who Trump models himself after, is.

Its time for responsible and legitimate American leaders on both sides condemn this.
 
It needs to be done now before Republicans are faced with him as their leader and a choice between giving up on winning the presidency and standing up to him.


As much of a Democrat as I am, and as strongly as I feel against much of conservative political policy, I feel a system with at least two parties is very important. I want opposition, because it helps cause a necessary flow of different ideas.

Hillary Clinton is trying to promote Trump and get him nominated, which is fear is both playing with fire and harmful to the election process. The nation needs at least two candidates to compete with ideas and differences that are hashed out in the public arena. We don't need a "strong man" bullying his way toward power.

HRC has started attacking Trump, to make it so the more legitimate Republican candidates cannot without looking like they agree with her. She should stay out of this because promoting Trump might destroy the Republican party but that would harm America. We need a strong opposition party. Worse, it could backfire and we would end up with a mad man as president.
