It's kinda ironic in a way that the "atheist" party has a more mystical attitude toward humanity than the "christian" party. Not sure how that happened.

Actually I think it goes all the way back to that whole "breath of life" biblical thing.
It seems to me that most Democrats have a religious as opposed to scientific viewpoint of when a person's lifespan begins.
a libtard would support whatever they were told. Tell them it's life at six months and they fall in line. Tell them it's life at three months and they'll fall in line.
It's any arbitrary number that some authority comes up with. that's when life starts!

Its just strange that the party that is very scientific(nominally at least) has a deep mystical "human rights" view, and the theological party is far more judgmental. Maybe it comes out of the differentiation in ethics. Republicans have an objective moral position whereas the democrats are more relative.
