LMAO... Okay, so let's follow the circular logic here... Sharia calls for beheading of homosexuals, Christianity and western society calls for forgiveness and acceptance of homosexuals. But because Sharia calls for beheading, they are 'exactly' the same as Christians who oppose homosexual marriage. Sharia calls for the stoning of women who behave in a provocative or promiscuous way.... "provocative" includes going out in public without covering your face... "promiscuity" includes being victimized by a rapist.... but because Christians are opposed to abortion on demand, they are "exactly the same" as those who practice Sharia!

Both Sharia and the Decalogue and other Old Testament laws revered by American conservatives are ancient religious laws, and I prefer to have the barbarous strictures of neither imposed on me.

Social Conservatives aren't seeking to have OT laws codified as law of the land. Christians have not believed in stoning anyone for over 2,000 years, since Jesus brought good news for modern man. In fact, much of what is practiced in Sharia, is diametrically opposed to Jesus' message of love and forgiveness.

Now where you have completely gone of the track, is in your presumption that Sharia is like Christian belief, something you can yammer and cajole into submission, and get your way with by being bombastic and hateful... but unlike Christianity, which teaches followers to be tolerant and have faith, to love and forgive their transgressors... the practitioners of Sharia believe you need to be without your head, unless you are willing to capitulate to Sharia. You think you are being clever by attacking both Christians and Muslims, because you think this will result in you not having to tolerate the religious views of either... but if Islam defeats Christianity, you will either obey Sharia or die.
