All of the above aspects concern me. I would think if you are working for someone, it is the actual WORK that you do and not the pay that you receive that would determine if you are employed. The fact that the courts have ruled these interns are not protected is beyond the pale.

I would agree that the only way to resolve this is to either protect them with a new law or the interns should refuse to work without at least some pay. I shot this to both my Senators and my Rep with a giant WTF? I would urge others to consider doing the same.
