Sessions wants to keep the job, apparently.

About bloody time.

I can't figure Sessions out. Why would it take nearly getting fired before you do something *you knew* [for months] your boss wanted done?

Sessions was hot to trot over weed even though Trump never says a word about it and likely doesn't care about it. Yet, he's just now, getting around to investigating the leaks that have nearly taken his boss down.

Makes no sense whatsoever.

of course it makes sense retard.
Sessions has his own racist agenda.

you freak

No, it was a legal decision, and a correct one, since you can't run an investigation on yourself. None of which explains why you created this thread.

Trump essentially said he wanted Sessions to pull the legal strings for him and get him out of hot water. How can you possibly be okay with that?

If I thought Trump was in hot water I wouldn't be ok with it.

They've had multiple investigations running over nine months *without even one single indictment*, no real evidence, nothing.

Sessions should have stayed in the game to investigate the DNC server. Since nobody else seems interested in it.

Sessions' recusal was knee-jerk. He acted like a typical republican---as soon as liberals and the media were hot on it, Sessions folded up like a cheap tent.

He jumped the gun when he should have waited. Now, since he's recused himself, he's forced to remain silent while Mueller loads his team with Clinton donors, just for example.

Which was the whole idea, from the liberal point of view. Not all that hard to figure out, really.

So he should have waited until after he testified about his own involvement before recusing himself for obvious conflict of interest? I tend to agree with Trump on one score, that he should never have taken the job. It was foreseeable that shit was going to hit the fan. If there were political debts to be paid, Trump should have given him some other job.

I thought Sessions was a dumb pick for AG. The guy is an old Senator and never really held a prosecutorial or LE job. I thought Trump should have picked someone else outside of Washington politics.

Perhaps an Attorney from the military or veteran US attry.

yes, you fucking retard he was a prosecutor and to double down on your stupidity, the military legal code is entirely unique. What a clusterfuck of stupidity

Trump clearly thinks he's in hot water, which is why he's willing to backstab his #1 loyalist -- one of the pillars of the Alt Right ideology -- in a far-fetched attempt to sabotage the investigation.

There is already evidence of collusion. They need to deep-dig this sucker because Trump and his associates are as crooked as the Eiffel Tower. They need to dig into Trump's finances to see how far back this goes, and if Trump's loyalty to Russian oligarchs is the result of deep financial ties. It would be unpatriotic not to investigate. If there's nothing there, then there's nothing there.

Sessions should have stayed in the game to investigate the DNC server. Since nobody else seems interested in it.

Which has nothing to do with anything related to Trump's investigation. You want to muddy the waters like a true partisan hack.

The hell it doesn't.

The whole Russian thing pivots around the evidence that they meddled in the election. And the only hard evidence is found on the DNC server, which nobody in government has had their hands on.

It would be hard to make this crap up.

You're on a bender of a rampage with the morning. What an angry person you are.

pssst, military attorney's had to pass a regular US bar like all the rest of attorney's, so they don't know just the UCMJ. Also, he simply said a veteran US attorney, hence one who practices outside of the UCMJ.

And you claim to be smart, LOL.

way too many.
Mattis has shown us nothing so far

What is too many?

So you can't find fault with Mattis, so you simply bullshit and claim he has shown nothing, which is not true. Trump could pick a liberal who agrees with every position you have and you would still bitch.

WRONG YOU FUCKING RETARD.

Sessions chose recusal over taking a perjury charge for lyong inder oath to Congress.
What an idiotic crock of bullshit
