About bloody time.

I can't figure Sessions out. Why would it take nearly getting fired before you do something *you knew* [for months] your boss wanted done?

Sessions was hot to trot over weed even though Trump never says a word about it and likely doesn't care about it. Yet, he's just now, getting around to investigating the leaks that have nearly taken his boss down.

Makes no sense whatsoever.

I'd wait to see if he can produce on the leaks. It could be a game changer.

But I can't figure the thought process out. Trump has [rightfully] been bitching about leaks for nine months. If I'm Sessions I'm thinking, 'maybe I better start an investigation into this'.

And I'm thinking this around last Ground Hogs Day or so. I don't get it.
 
I thought Sessions was a dumb pick for AG. The guy is an old Senator and never really held a prosecutorial or LE job. I thought Trump should have picked someone else outside of Washington politics.

Perhaps an Attorney from the military or veteran US attry.

Trump openly admits that the reason he hates Sessions is because he recused himself from the Russian investigation, and here you are making a thread like this because Trump hinted at another possible explanation. You're a sucker.

Just because Trump hates the Russian nonsense doesn't mean there's any merit to the Russian nonsense.

Sessions' recusal was knee-jerk. He acted like a typical republican---as soon as liberals and the media were hot on it, Sessions folded up like a cheap tent.

He jumped the gun when he should have waited. Now, since he's recused himself, he's forced to remain silent while Mueller loads his team with Clinton donors, just for example.

Which was the whole idea, from the liberal point of view. Not all that hard to figure out, really.

Trump leaks, maybe he should start there. Trump's complaints are always projections.

No, it was a legal decision, and a correct one, since you can't run an investigation on yourself. None of which explains why you created this thread.

Trump essentially said he wanted Sessions to pull the legal strings for him and get him out of hot water. How can you possibly be okay with that?
