Sessions: 2nd Special Counsel Possible

I didn't know a British agent is now considered a "foreign agent"

I still want to hear proof of this supposed collusion with Russia. To me its all a bunch of garbage, just like Uranium One.
Steele was head of the Russian desk at Britain's Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) (MI6)

that's what i wrote dude..

I'm much more interested in the Russian collusion whereby Clinton hired a foreign agent to collude
with the Russian thru the shell corporation Fusion GPS..but the pattern is there either way.

Either way need an SC because the Clinton's need to be held to the same standard of 'Russian collusion'
as the Trump campaign

MUCH more evidence about Rump campaign collusion, and a special counsel is about conflict of interest, if the FBI wants to investigate without a SC let em do it!

Mueller is former FBI head.. how can he investigate whether the Steele dossier was the impetus for the
FBI's "counter-intelligence investigation" that started all this noise?

Amazing how Fox, the radio demagogues, and whacked out right wing websites push an inneundo narrative and conservatives eat it up as fact

Even yesterday, Sessions had to lecture Jim Jordan after he regurgitated again all the debunked conspiracies and demanded a Special Council, to which the Attorney General replied quite adamently, "Looks like is not enough basis to appoint a special counsel."

As PolitiFact has laid out in great detail, there is no direct evidence of a quid pro quo among Clinton, the State Department, Rosatom and the Clinton Foundation donors with ties to Uranium One. Clinton has repeatedly denied any involvement in the State Department’s approval of the Uranium One sale, insisting that such approval was granted at lower levels of the department and would not have crossed the secretary’s desk.

Bullshit, BIll Clinton got twice his usual speaking fees from Moscow and millions was funneled from Russia directly into the Clinton Foundation, your assertion that it was lower levels that had to approve it is a blatant lie, as Secretary of State it was her call, noone elses. Furthermore; wikileaks proves through the Podesta emails that politico actively colluded with the Clinton campaign, and sent articles to the Clinton campaign for approval before even their own editors.

Jose Fernandez, who was the assistant secretary of state for economic, energy and business affairs when the Uranium One deal was approved, told the Times that Clinton “never intervened with me on any [Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States] matter."

Good for him, it wasnt his call it was hers.

Beyond the State Department, eight other government agencies approved the Uranium One sale.

Irrelevant, she was a key official whose approval was necessary.

Why would that stop him?

um..you do get Sessions is having careerists @ DoJ make the determination for a Clintonista SC?

Her approval wasn't necessary, and would have been only 1 of 9.

Absolutely untrue. Please show me some authority for your claim.

The agreement was approved by nine government agencies with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), an inter-agency group that reviews how certain foreign investments can impact national security. Clinton’s State Department was one of those agencies, though the former secretary of state told WMUR-TV in 2015 that she was not “personally involved” in the agreement.

The assertion that as head of her department she didn't have to approve it is laughable bullshit.

Do you mean how it has been debunked or how it was obtained?

Yes, it is not debatable that Christopher Steele's sources were FSB, are you seriously arguing that assertion at this point?

First of all, Clinton did not hire Christopher Steele directly, now can you prove to us Steele had anything to do with FSB and how it affected anything?

Quid pro quo with Russians in getting fictitious dirt on Trump as a means to affect an election outcome.

You, nor all the demogogues you listen to, can prove quid pro quo, it is all based upon inneundo without facts, and please don't regurgitate all the conspiracies you've been sold as factual, vast majority of them have either been debunked or are twilight zone material

Her approval as head of the DOS was absolutely necessary and as 1 of 9 people who had to approve it was absolutely crucial to get said approval.

She did not directly approve anything, and again there were 8 other agencies whose approval was needed. This was a very minor transaction, with only the "right wing" trying hard to make a mountain out of a molehill.
