Democrats will always be better at this stuff than Republicans are. Not that that is an excuse. They should have been ready. They should have had a clip of Bernie going on about how republicans ‘were trying to kill people’ by standing in the way of the ACA.

Then pair it with a clip of Steve Scalise getting shot up at the congressional softball game. Unfortunately, I don’t think a clip exists but you get the idea. There’s not a reason in the world republicans can’t play the same game but they won’t.

I didn’t watch it but I understand Trump defense had to do with constitutional law [yawn] while Democrats played their propaganda movie.

The propaganda will win every time because democrats understand the power of visual imagery and republicans don’t.

I just hope the team can use some of the propaganda back on them. Four plus years is enough.
 
Every member of the Trump cult that posts here was happy about what happened at the Capitol and wished that the rioters had executed people. They wanted a civil war, so what happened on 1/6 is being celebrated by them. All of them. If they claim they condemn the violence, they are lying. It's that simple.

Yeah, there’s a wealth of video clips of lefty violence and there’s a wealth of democrat politicians ‘not exactly condemning it’ lol, so yeah, two could definitely play the game.

Did you seriously just compare ppl going up to an elected official in a restaurant with the mob that terrorized our Capitol? Are you also one of those who believes that having to put on a mask to go to the hardware store is the same as being put on a train for Buchenwald?

Yes to both. Because that's the only way they can deal with the cognitive dissonance. See, to the cult, the capitol rioters are the good guys, so they have to have a way of justifying their actions. They create a false equivalency to deal with their horrific world view and their treason.

One striking thing that I noticed on social media is how few of our conservative friends and relatives condemned the attack. Of the few who commented, the common words used were "Well, I don't see why they couldn't have another recount. That's all we wanted, another recount just to be sure." Apparently whatever news source they use didn't bother to inform them of the multiple recounts, or the 60+ court challenges that failed.

Nope, I'm not comparing them. And I've said many times those responsible should be held accountable for their parts in storming the capitol. I think it was stupid and the majority of those of us who voted for Trump do as well. Don't throw all of us in the same bin.

Take a look at the reaction here. RB 60 calling cops babies because they might have been terrified facing an armed mob of thousands of thugs. Why? They think it's great. They love what happened. All of them. They are beneath contempt.

As if HE would have behaved any differently. The Cultists are lucky that the LEOs didn't just start mowing them down. I suppose that would have been admirable to the armchair warriors.
