I think a lot of people need to take a chill pill on these shifts in political alliances and party power. Our political system is so loaded with vast numbers of checks and balances that no one political party, no single magistrate, no economic interest, no legislative body, no coalition, no State, no region, no population center can dominate our political system for long nor take us to the extremes without these massive numbers of checks and balances restoring balance and order.

In other words America is working like it always has. Nothing new here. Move along. Don’t worry, be happy. America is a great place. :)

This turned into a "full blown" clown show yesterday,
problem for the Dem's is, it is their clown show, so the optics are all theirs.

I think the truly swing vote women saw what we all saw.
A plotted delay tactic by the Democrats, trying to destroy a man and his family, and for what? So Trump didn't get his pick in?
Seriously I would be embarrassed if I said one word forward supporting Democrats on this one.

And I don't want to discount that "Dr." Ford needs help, because she has issues, from something, or she is the most diabolic fake ever.

I am not totally happy, I do have a few concerns, but for the most part I agree, not much I can do about it but call my Congress critters and vote.

Misogyny aside, Graham really disgraced himself. He has been the most insufferably sanctimonious person in the senate since Lieberman left -- only he carries his hypocrisy a lot closer to the surface than Lieberman ever did. I'd love to see one of the senate Democrats take him to task for his outbursts -- finally call him out for what he is, and the laugh in his face.

If you think killing unarmed Blacks in the streets is great or putting innocent Black males in prisons for profit is great then you should have no problems if it happens to your "minority" wife.

Graham Cracker played that card because its the only one he had.
Ford was devastating so they made a collective decision to stop with the prosecutor
and have a collective meltdown attacking the hearings. They decided she was truthful
so they abandoned attempting to get something helpful from her or from their own witness, Korsakoff,
and went full bore at the strawmen. Completely transparent.

It was operation red herring. The whole point was to execute the fallback plan of making the hearing about the hearing instead of the witness in event Ford was credible.

When I saw graham's theatrics all I saw was a giant red herring swimming out of the room with all the Fox viewers following it dutifully.
