I wonder how many of those Second Amendment gun humpers who constantly protest in front of govt. buildings, including courts, have been fined or imprisoned or both? In Lansing they even invaded the state capitol building -- with their beloved dick substitutes -- and tried to intimidate the legislators.

Intent is hard to prove. All such demonstrators need to do is claim that they were exercising their Constitutional right to express their opinions.

They weren't showing up to their homes, and they're out there literally chanting about the court, crystal clear death threats.
 
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday condemned protestors who gathered outside Supreme Court justices’ homes to protest a leaked draft opinion regarding the potential overturning of the Roe v. Wade decision.

“We’ve seen angry crowds assemble at judges’ private family homes. Activists published a map of their addresses. Law enforcement has had to install a security fence around the Supreme Court itself,” McConnell said from the Senate floor.

“Trying to scare federal judges into ruling a certain way is far outside the bounds of First Amendment speech or protest. It is an attempt to replace the rule of law with the rule of mobs,” he added.

McConnell also cited a federal law that forbids “pickets and parades” with the goal of influencing judges. He said the law could make the protestors’ actions illegal.

Title 18, Section 1507 of the United States Code provides an official position of the U.S. government that the press secretary could not provide.

“Whoever, with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness, or court officer, in the discharge of his duty, pickets or parades in or near a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or with such intent uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.”

Yes, the left wing loons are clearly violating:

Protests do not have to be violent at the homes of Supreme Court Justices to be a violation of the US Code.

The left would be climbing the wall if the right protested at Kagan's home ...or Sotomayor's home or Breyer's home.
