Like firing Comey is going to accomplish anything lol.

I guess it bears repeating for the congressional anti-Trump hacks: Comey was the chief administrator. He didn't personally do investigations. Supposing, the FBI has something, Comey's underlings will more motivated than ever to find it and release it so as to vindicate their boss.

I'm not sure why this surprises you. Both you cite are Democrats. Lies come out whenever they speak. lol

If it was out of the blue, maybe.

Some of the same congressional idiots whining about Trump firing Comey were calling for Comey's head in July.
