Senate approves historic legislation to protect same-sex marriages

yes, the law changed the definition of "marriage" to include the fake gay ceremonies......we've already made that clear.....

The marriages are fake and unacceptable to the Grand Architect.

This legalization of perversion can be changed by the Supreme Court.

Guano and the ambulance chaser are now legal in the eyes of man but not in the eyes of the Grand Architect.

because lib'ruls feel they are entitled to redefine the English language to fulfill their political agenda.......

No because liberals believe in freedom. You are free to define marriage however you want and this country has done likewise (not liberals, this country). Two members of the same sex are free to get married and it doesn't affect you one bit other than to trigger the bigotry inside you, get over it. Or, if you don't like "this countries definition" there are plenty of countries that define it differently, move to one.

It appears that Port Tack is now legal.

This legalization of perversion can be changed by the Supreme Court.

What next, the legalization of marriage of a man and his sheep?

don't be silly....if you didn't intend to make it affect everyone you wouldn't have needed to change the law......you'd have just done what you were free to do.....no.....you believe in forcing everyone to do what you want them to do......

it can be changed by legislature......I doubt it will be......haven't seen the text of what the current law is, but it is possible it is unconstitutional......if it attempts to prevent any state from changing marriage laws I expect the current SC WILL find it unconstitutional on the same basis as Roe was overturned.....

I believe it will be challenged, as you say, on the same basis that Roe was challenged.

There is no enumerated right to gay marriage in the Constitution and all powers not enumerated in the Constitution are left to the states.

The Democrat lame duck House will pass this law but it must pass Supreme Court muster.

I believe the Supreme Court will rule as they did under the Dobbs ruling,

Otherwise, they would undermine the Dobbs ruling.

The Constitution of the United States is the most nearly perfect document for a government in history.

The Founding Fathers' wisdom is celebratory.

Their wisdom concerning the accumulation of power by a centralized federal government is beyond question.

America is a Constitutional Federal Republic and Democracy is defended by the Enumeration of Powers clause.

What could be more democratic or better?

The next time we try to write a constitution, let's give the job to talented lawyers instead of plantation owners.

You're well-programmed, Earl--I'll give you that.
But the founders you so much love created the most inefficient form of government that this planet has ever seen, and we're still stuck with it.

Let's correct this false statement..."You're well-programmed."

I am well educated and history has proven the efficacy of our Constitution.

The Bill of Rights protects all Americans. We are a free nation, as free as humanly possible, and we have defended freedom around the world with treasure and blood.

The Constitution has protected Americans from the overreach by the far left Democrat Socialists on multiple occasions.
