Given the Pedo Party's predilections, I suspect it does have something to do with underage males. A handful of Republicans have been openly gay so that's not the reason for him to stay in the closet. Having sex with 16 year old boys would be something Trump could hold over him.

IMO, it's not looking good. The Republicans have not only let the White Supremacist genie out of the bottle, but have actively fed it. They've turned the Supreme Court into a RW activist court. They've forsworn individual rights and State's Rights in favor of Federalist Authoritarianism. I don't see them coming back from that before imploding.
