Sen. Durbin To Sen. Burris - Resign

I'm 49
didn't say I was mature, just having fun
Seriously, thanks again for the guard. Like most you could have gotten way more pay.

The real deal with the Guard is the benefits down the road. I can work part-time in the Guard (get a little money for college), and when I'm 38, I can retire (like no other job) and have a small pension plan come online eventually.

I know people who make quite a bit of money outside in business, finance, Boeing, IT, etc. and are still completing time in the Guard because they figure, at this point, why not?

I'm ripping one one of your parties mental midgets. If he were half as smart as you I'd leave him alone

Honestly, I have seen STY make stupid comments (I mean, he's from Texas afterall), but not on this or any of the other drug related threads.

Consider, has he actually said anything attacking your position on drugs? No, all he has done is claim the CA move to legalize MJ will fail because of existing federal statues and case law (meaning laws enacted by Congress and court rulings) that will be used by the Federal government to FORCE California to back down on the matter.

He didn't say CA should not do this because its inherently wrong, and drugs are "bad," or anything of the sort. So I fail to see why you are attacking him in this thread...

I'm glad Burris is staying, that way the investigation won't get dropped and they can charge Burshit with Perjury.

Don't count on it.. This culture of corruption thingy only applies to Republicans, I am still waiting on seeing Rep. William Jefferson go to trial, and that happened in 2006.
