RWs think we should believe the SS about the trump wheel-grabbing story. Now I'm beginning to think they're all bent.

The United States Secret Service is in yet another scandal over its performance during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

"The Secret Service erased text messages from January 5 and January 6, 2021, according to a letter given to the January 6 committee and reviewed by The Intercept. The letter was originally sent by the Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General to the House and Senate homeland security committees. Though the Secret Service maintains that the text messages were lost as a result of a 'device-replacement program,' the letter says the erasure took place shortly after oversight officials requested the agency’s electronic communications," The Intercept reported Thursday.

I suspect that even if the messages were deleted from the devices, they still live in the cloud some place. They'll find 'em. And when they do, depending on what's in them, there are going to be some heads rolling.

I don't normally believe in executions; I believe in humane euthanasia instead. I'm a highly moral person if I say so myself.

In this case, I will surrender the higher moral ground and succumb to my wish to amuse myself watching the fuckers hang.

They might have to get a warrant for whatever carrier they use, but that could take a while.

I wonder.....is that anything like bleach biting you're server and smashing you're phone and other devices with hammers after the FBI orders you to turn them over for examination?

But did the person who ordered the server scrubbed and the devices smashed after being ORDERED by the FBI to turn them over get in any trouble? If not then this is equally a big nothing burger. ;)

My understanding of what RWs think is "deep state" is that there's a shadow government controlling everything behind the scenes. And I think it's a conspiracy no matter which party makes the claim.
