Trump lost every motion to slow this down. The judge is setting this for January and unless Jack Smith gets his January date (doubtful, likely mid Feb early March for him) this will happen and will be a super fast trial. It will almost certainly be a trial on 'damages only', and all the facts of the case will be stipulated, based on a motion to use the prior findings as the proof of the offense, therefore none of those need to be relitigated.

The question of this case will not be whether he sexually assaulted her not, whether he raped her or not, as we have a jury ruling she was sexually assaulted (original trial) and a judges official ruling he in fact raped her (from his counter suit that was thrown out), and as such a judge can rule to stipulate those already prior established facts, and almost certainly will.

This case can be concluded in 30 days or less, with only a need for a jury to sit and determine damages under a stipulation of 'he has already been found liable of the offense, we just need to know how much he should pay for subsequently doing the same offense over and over'.

Do we all agree that in Trumps statement that as a celebrity 'you can grab em by the pussy', 'fortunately or unfortunately if you are a celebrity' has tipped towards the 'unfortunately for him??

You may have assumed it but until Trump lost his appeal you did not know it.

But good to see you no longer repeating your prior position that NONE of these cases would proceed in the Aileen Cannon gap time created as you kept saying it would be unfair to Trump and would not be allowed to happen. Glad you accept now how wrong you were on that. And how badly Trump and his lawyers and Aileen Cannon screwed up when they could have easily protected Trump and made sure there was no room for any other trials.

And it still may not as any of the criminal trials may take that spot and they get preferential court booking time.

If Jack Smith gets his Jan date this one will have to wait. BUt i think the judge gives Jack a mid Feb or March 1 start time. That will then allow this case to jump in.

Trump gets to wear the stain now of a Judge rendering a finding he "DID RAPE HER" in dismissing Trump's counter suit against E Jean.


Trump is a glutton for punishment and a dumb one at that. He was hoping to intimidate E Jean and others by suing her for defamation when she went on CNN and said 'he raped her'. By counter suing her he forced the judge to enter a ruling and the judge found he did rape her, even if the narrow NYS State law does not define rape specifically that way.

So now anyone can call Trump a rapist with out fear of him winning a lawsuit against by citing the Judges finding.

Ya. And this second jury could really go to town on punitive damages this time.

The entire point of punitive damages is the way the Jury says 'you and others need to be deterred from doing this in the future by this punitive award'.

Trump said to that last jury 'fuck your $5MM award... I will say what i want and it will not deter me'.

The jury can go well above what E Jean is asking if they believe he will still be defiant and i would not be shocked if they do.

You can wait for your standard only, and another derp could even say a standard of 'beyond a reasonable doubt' in a criminal trial is not enough for them.

But for us who are not derps the two trials provided ample proof and findings that Trump is a rapist and can be cited now as one.
