Sec. Scott Bessent reveals ALL FOREIGN TRADING PARTNERS said they're KEEPING the trade deals they made because of the tariffs

Bessant lies. It's only been a couple days... that would be an imposable thing to have determined.

By the time the truth comes out Trumppers will have forgotten because "about two weeks" will have passed.

Brilliant post from Jarod, as usual. The poor guy struggles with reality as much as he struggles with 5th grade spelling. He thinks it's 'imposable' to make a couple dozen calls in a couple of days, lol. Everyone will keep the deals because Trump has numerous ways to implement the exact same penalties should they back out on the deals and Trump has already demonstrated how serious he is. Not to mention, he can do much worse so he chose to. This ruling just made things less immediate which is ridiculous and has limited every future president from doing what might be needed or the least harsh response in certain circumstances. The ruling was a pathetic play to show they're not in Trump's pocket. Maybe it's a good sign for Birthright Citizenship. Time will tell.

Yes...no such thing as phones or the net for rapid communication.

Feel free to continue making up the ridiculous bullshit you post daily..

There are no trade deals. If Trump can change it on a whim, it is not a deal. A deal requires both sides to sit down and thrash out changes. Trump uses these "agreements" as leverage. He has always been a bully, and he bullies nations now instead of the nerds. Trump is deplorable.

See how pissed the Treason-o-crats are that the Scotus ruling is not wrecking America's economy....typical.

Oh look; the Chinese are desperately trying to spread more anti-American bullshit. ^^^^^^^^^

Maybe it's time to consider a remedial course in fifth grade English.

Garbage. No evidence for conclusions here. Seriousness means nothing if he does not have the tools to impose his will or "to implement the exact same penalties..." should the other side not carry out their part.

Thank heavens for the ruling. That the economy should not weaken more this year, the GOP may have an outside chance to hold onto the House and not lose Senate.

Have you read any Trump tweets lately?

“The Democrat Shutdown cost the U.S.A. at least two points in GDP. That’s why they are doing it, in mini form, again. No Shutdowns! Also, LOWER INTEREST RATES. “Two Late” Powell is the WORST!!“

You voted for this guy to be president!

Seriously, 'No evidence for conclusions here' lol. Jakey apparently can't use the internet, or he'd know Trump has at least 10 other ways to impose tariffs and way more. He could slap a total embargo on any country on the planet just for fun, no approval from AOC, Schumer, or Jakey needed. All it takes is what he perceives as a national security threat, which can mean literally anything he decides, and he doesn't even have to explain it. Congress could do jack shit about it. Crazy? Turns out presidents have a ton of power.

My point was simple: By picking the IEEPA route, Trump sped things up by months and locked in a bunch of great deals that would've dragged on forever otherwise. The SCOTUS ruling was pure political spite, pretending 'regulate importation' doesn't include tariffs just because the word isn't spelled out. Nuance my ass. As sad as it was, don't think for one second that this outcome was not planned for Jakey. Smart people always have a plan B and C.

Reality check: The ruling only strips a useful tool from future presidents. For Trump, the message got delivered, deals got done. In libtard fantasy land, countries would rip up agreements and demand refunds, causing the chaos they prayed for. Nope. Not one has backed out. Why? They know Trump has plenty of other levers and won't hesitate to use them. Any betrayal gets baked into the next, harsher deal. This was a high price to pay for a single dose of libtard dope, but too an addict, that dose is worth anything and is more important than any else on the planet. Now, you got the dose, but the high has already faded. No big announcements demand refunds and backing out of deals to sustain you, lol. There's a few little chirps from a few sore losers, but they are meaningless to those in reality, and not much comfort for those in need of another dose of the good stuff.

Always remember, these aren't punitive tariffs on fair traders. They're reciprocal: If they hit us with 50%, we hit back with 50%. If they slap 10% plus a 20% bullshit fee, we go 30%. Fair trade for American workers and exporters, something previous deals screwed over. Jakey might ask, why not use those from day one? Because it'd take forever, country by country. IEEPA was the fast lane.

Trump hit his goal with one of many tools. He doesn't need IEEPA anymore right now, he's got backups galore.

Jakey thinks this saves him in the midterms, as if this ruling will have any impact at all. Tell the class, Jakey: What product drops a quarter next week? Cars cheaper tomorrow? Steel tariffs gone? China stuff tariff-free again? Mexican car factories staying put instead of moving here? Nope. The fact is, the economy is growing at a blistering 5% GDP, energy costs are down, red tape has been cut, taxes have been cut, 100% expensing made permanent, fat tax return checks, school choice, the MAHA movement, murder at a 100 yr low, border is secure, thousand of criminals are out of country, Panama canal is becoming China free, Greenland is our playground for eternity, Iran is as weak as it has ever been, no more Hamas shooting missiles at Israel every day, innocent people of Gaza are being fed, many countries are at peace because of Trump, I could go on but you'll hear all about it tonight. These are what might help Trump defy historical norms again, nothing to do with the SCOTUS stupidity at all.

Reality post political ruling: Almost nothing changes in a meaningful way except limiting future presidents. Even the most left-wing libtards are dialing back to 'a possible $200-400 annual family savings total,' which is like $7 a week at most. Worth the potential chaos they hoped for? Hardly. No country has walked from any deal. A few got a new talking point to pretend they've won something, a tale to tell their libtard dope deprived elitist. Laughable of course. They'd bolt from those deals in a second if they could, but they know Trump won't play nice if they do. The current deals still benefit both sides. The next ones won't. They get that because they know he has a big bat in his toolkit and that if pushed, he'll swing it.
