You are aware that in over half the states in the US, there is NO requirement to carry a loaded handgun? You want my guns, you can have one or two when the prison population is increased 1000% for thugs using guns in the commission of a crime. in essence the decision was that the second amendment is equal to the other rights protected by the constitution and does not have to proven in order to exist.......the state cannot force the citizen to prove he has the right to bear arms like NY did, the citizen simply HAS the right to bear arms just has he has a right to free speech, a right to etc, etc, etc......

Lets run it again by those suffering from reading comprehension, the States this idiocy will effect are those States with the lowest gun violence rates in the country, and as a comparison you are holding up as models some of the States with the highest gun deaths in the country, as I noted, idiocy
