I actually think people with a divine purpose are more prone to mass murder. They feel sanctified in killing, dismissing or otherwise abusing those who don't share their delusion.

sort of goes against the statistics though....unless you count the Pol Pot, Stalin, and Hitler among those with "divine purpose"....seems to me that "political purpose" is the winner, hands down....

those you mentioned probably did feel some kind of divine purpose. Hitler was a new ager, like the green murderers we have today.
