Not a big deal by any means, but one of the more humorous parts of the past week in MA. Kurt Schilling is a Yankee's fan.

UPDATE: Schilling responds: "I've been called a lot of things...but never, I mean never, could anyone make the mistake of calling me a Yankee fan. Well, check that, if you didn't know what the hell is going on in your own state maybe you could..."

Now I personally hate Schilling and the Red Sox's but what a dumb b*tch. Her campaign said she "wiffed" at the joke but most voters in the state are diehard Red Sox fans and why make a joke like that about a beloved Red Sox player even if he is for your opponent? It's not like that's going to swing the election or anything but when you are in a (supposedly) close race stupid comments like that don't help your cause.

yeah... definitely not going to swing it, but hey... as long as it might piss off a Sox fan... why not go for the 'joke'.... seriously... how could she think that might even be remotely funny? FAIL.
