Remember NUNES, Trump's 'dicksucker', refused to release his own report. He refused to call in witnesses that Democrats knew needed to be called in. He knew several WITNESSES WERE LYING and refused to allow others to be brought back for additional questioning. And, he told other witnesses they didn't have to COME IN at all.

Schiff to target potential perjury during Congress’ Russia probe

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said Sunday that he wants to work with special counsel Robert Mueller to determine whether any witnesses who have testified before his panel have committed perjury.

Mueller and the House Intelligence Committee have conducted separate investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 president election.

Schiff said one of his first acts as chairman would be to share the transcripts of relevant congressional testimony with the special counsel, “including for the bringing of perjury charges, if necessary, against any of the witnesses, but also to see the evidence that they contain.”

“I don’t want to go into enumerating particularly who I have concerns about, but I do have concerns about certainly multiple witnesses,” Schiff told host Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“Bob Mueller, by virtue of the fact that he has been able to conduct this investigation using tools that we didn’t have in our committee, meaning compulsion, is in a better position to determine, OK, who was telling the truth?” Schiff said. “Who wasn’t? And who can I make a case against in terms of perjury?”

He said certain people might have felt like they had “some kind of immunity” when Republicans were in control of the committee, with lawmakers intervening to tell witnesses they don’t have to answer certain questions or appear at all.

“There’s no reason to protect these witnesses,” Schiff said. “There’s every reason to validate Congress’ interest in not having people come before it and lie.”...

No one really expected President Donald Trump, who benefited from Russia’s 2016 election interference, to counter that hostile regime’s active measures: Russia wanted him to win, and when they hacked, he invited them to hack more.

But America should have been able to rely on a united Congress to ensure that our next elections aren’t just as vulnerable if not more so. Instead, due to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes’ persistent and pernicious obstruction, America has been spectacularly let down.

I think it might be worse. Remember he went running to the WH with the FISA information about FLYNN. That sounds like obstruction of justice to me. I think it's traitorous for a congressman to do that! TELLING WITNESS THEY DIDN'T HAVE TESTIFY is more obstruction of justice.

Does ANYONE know if he made witnesses take the oath? I was under the impression, he did not. Or didn't FOR CERTAIN WITNESSES.

I just found this little gem buried in a New Yorker article (dated DEC18). I don't know who they are and how much clout they do or don't have but I guess formal paperwork has originated.

” The government watchdog Campaign for Accountability has filed complaints against Nunes for leaking confidential information from the ongoing Russia investigation."
