In the meantime, the court said Monday that Trump’s ban on visitors from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen can be enforced as long if those visitors lack a “credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States.”

he terror group ISIS has created a whole “industry” out of the production of fake passports, a high-level French official said today.

French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve told reporters that through ISIS’s operations in Syria, Iraq and Libya, the group has acquired blank passports and has now set up a “real fake document industry.” Cazeneuve made the statement following a meeting with top European officials where he proposed setting up a new task force to help nab people attempting to come into the European Union with fake papers.

Last month ABC News reported that U.S. intelligence suspected ISIS had acquired thousands of blank Syrian passports and at least one passport printing machine after taking over government offices in Syria. Officials from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) said in a 17-page report that the terror group has likely been able to print legitimate-looking Syrian passports since at least last summer – and raised the possibility that people using the forged documents have snuck into America.

Good trends overall, quite honestly. You can make a lame joke about "moral victories," but every special election - in deep red districts - has seen wins that Republicans used to coast to by big double-digits reduced to single digits. On average, Democrats have gained 8% in those elections.

Clearly, not enough to win in deep red districts. But come '18, a lot of the contested seats will be in more purple areas.

Your argument is that Dems are losing big still, but won't in the coming years.

Pretty much. The Dems aren't getting wins right now; they don't control anything, and every special election has been in a red district.

Exact same situation the GOP was in 8 years ago. Dems won the 1st 7 special elections, and the GOP didn't have much say legislatively or otherwise. Then, things changed a bit. It's likely to go that way for the Dems now.

Hopefully the Reps will stay away from losing issues like forced gendering in restrooms, muslim invasions, Paris Accords, and secret Iran giveaways.
