Criticism of Amnesty International

Criticism of Amnesty International includes claims of excessive pay for management, underprotection of overseas staff, associating with organizations with a dubious record on human rights protection, selection bias, ideological/foreign policy bias against either non-Western countries[99] or Western-supported countries, or even bias for terrorist groups,[100] as well as criticism of Amnesty's policies relating to abortion.[101][102]

The actions of these governments, and of other governments critical of Amnesty International, have been the subject of human rights concerns voiced by Amnesty. The Sudan Vision Daily, a daily newspaper in Sudan, compared Amnesty to the National Endowment for Democracy, saying "it is, in essence, a British intelligence organization which is a part of the Government decision making system.

I started this thread because what is happening to these women is beyond disgusting, your immeasured response is sadly both wrong and typical. Not sure why you can't see that, are you scared that you might cause problems with visas on future or is it a form of Stockholm Syndrome?

As for my pretty wife, she is also one smart cookie and has a first class business brain. However you cross her at your peril.
