Satanists unveil proposed statue for OK state capitol

For a country that hates Muslims and Islam in general, we tend to idolize prophetic figures (lawgivers) of our time. Since we are a country that values religious icons I wonder why we would object to the "erection" of religious villains?

If ANY Christian organization from ANY state was denied the right to put up a statue most of the righties on here would be up in arms, talking about the war on Christianity and bemoaning liberals. Religious monuments should stay on religious property.

Should have stuck to a Trail of Tears image and told NY their history wasn't welcome here. Either way, I doubt that the Satanists are going to get a statue.

I doubt that. A few of the "righties" might, but not most. At least not in my experience.

I think this is hilarious, and if they actually get it done I'll go visit it just out of sheer lol joyfulness.

I will go sit on Baphomet's lap and have my picture took.

Those were removed...or ordered to be removed....

Show where the SCOTUS currently displays ANY religious icons. The satanists just didn't come to OK and say "we're putting this up." The satanists came and said "Because you show Christian icons, you must show ours as well."

They were not removed. Now you are just making stuff up. Nobody ordered the SCOTUS to remove the images of Moses with the Ten Commandments from the SCOTUS building.

could a state university forbid an out of state organization from setting up an event on campus because none of its members were students there?......

This would be different than how they would treat an in state organization who does not have any members that are students? :)
