My lil' bitch Yurt never lies, so naturally I'm supposed to believe him when he claims he didn't see my post before he made his copycat thread?

Even though he lied about "ignoring most of my posts and threads" and obsessively replies to same?

Sarah Palin claimed last week that Paul Revere was “he who warned the British.” But as any American 1st grader will know, Revere was he who warned the colonists, specifically Samuel Adams and John Hancock.

Palin’s camp, however, immediately dug up an obscure historic reference – one that no one talked about before her gaffe – to support her botched account of Revere.

Palin herself also insisted that she didn’t err and that Revere did indeed “warn the British.”

Her story, however, doesn’t add up.

She wasn’t speaking at some US history convention to discuss obscure facts about the American Revolution. Instead, everything about the context of her words suggests she was shooting for Paul Revere’s famed midnight ride to Lexington to warn the colonists, which she badly botched.

Palin has a history of embarrassing herself.

Margaret Thatcher, the former British prime minister, is well respected by Sarah Palin, but it doesn't appear that the feeling is mutual.
Recently the former Alaska governor revealed plans to take her "One Nation" road show across the pond next month, with a stop in London as she makes her way to Sudan.
"I am going to Sudan in July and hope to stop in England on the way. I am just hoping Mrs. Thatcher is well enough to see me as I so admire her," Palin told Britain's Sunday Times in an article titled "Reloaded and on a Mrs. T mission: the Palins are coming to Britain!"
But the woman affectionately dubbed the Iron Lady isn't interested in meeting with Sarah Barracuda during the hockey mom's trip.
"Lady Thatcher will not be seeing Sarah Palin. That would be belittling for Margaret. Sarah Palin is nuts," an unnamed "ally" told the Guardian.

Sarah Plain is nuts! And this from the ally of a woman whose own sanity could be likened to that of Adolf Hitler, Mussolini and Napoleon (that's the one in the institution near you) combined.

Weren't you the one lamenting about how the UK press was unreliable as a source just last week? And here you are, with a Guardian story which quotes "an unnamed source" and you are using that quote and attributing it to PM Thatcher? How fucking ignorant do you think Americans are, really?

That question is really unfair!

That question is really unfair!

Yes it is, because apparently, you think we are just a shade above mentally retarded. You cited a story which doesn't even quote Thatcher, but an "unnamed ally" ...whatever the fuck that means... didn't realize former PMs needed "allies" over there, is it THAT bad these days? But there is absolutely nothing in the story from Maggie, and it smacks of a totally liberal attempt at Sarah Smear... British style! I think you are going to have to do better than this, we're a little smarter than the average Brit.

You also have difficulty understanding the old English expression, 'Taking the piss.'
In your last post you 'accused' me of citing the UK press when I had recently called them unreliable. Of course! But you will recall that I named the least reliable. The Guardian positively oozes truth as any good British left of centre paper does.
You take everything so seriously, don't you? One must ask is Jon Stewart really American? I wouldn't be surprised if his mother (or father, since we are in America) had a little English in her!
I love your mention of a Sarah smear! Words can be so much fun, don't you agree? I hope her smear is negative.
I'm glad you see yourselves as smart, it is so much more comforting than the truth, much easier to live with.

I like that Andrew Malcolm (Laura Bush's former PR flack) pretends to know what Sarah Palin "knew" when she gave that ridiculous answer. Watch the video. It's clear she doesn't know what the fuck she is talking about. I'm guessing that if anyone asked her what books she has read about the Revolutionary War she'd respond "All of 'em."

The historian quoted in the Boston Globe nailed this one: “I would describe her as lucky in her history as opposed to knowledgeable in her history."

My guess would be that she learned that tidbit while IN Boston... probably on a tour. But bottom line.... the idiots that mocked her should be completely embarrassed by the fact that, while 'lucky', she was correct and they were wrong.

you are seriously equating Thatcher to Hitler and Mussolini? Wow... you truly are pathetic.

LMAO... So now she was just "lucky" eh? Funny how that works... if she is wrong, she is stupid, if she is right, she got lucky!

If you read the transcript of her entire speech in context, she makes a very valid and poignant statement, and it is totally lost in the misconstrued context the left wishes to attribute.

Want to hear something else hilarious?

Wikipedia had to shut down the Paul Revere page because Palin supporters were trying to rewrite history so it would support what Palin had claimed...how sad is that?

How sad must those "supporters" must be!

Why did they need to rewrite it? Scholarly historians have gone on record to say she was historically correct. Perhaps it was liberal pinheads who were trying to rewrite history to make Sarah be wrong?

Post the transcript....did she say anything about 1/3, Dixtard?

Here's what the Teabagger 'Tard said: “He who warned uh, the British that they weren’t gonna be takin’ away our arms, uh by ringing those bells, and um, makin’ sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be sure and we were going to be free, and we were going to be armed.

Did Paul Revere ring any bells or fire any warning shots to alert the British, Dick-see?

Yes, or no?

Here's a video version of what the Dixtard wants to believe:
