Blood libel, accusing Jews of using the blood of innocents in their sacrifices (Christian children) in order to whip up hate against them is the idea behind Palin's usage. Some in the Media and certain lefties in this circumstance, used the blood of innocents (the Arizona victims) to whip up hate against Palin- The analogy is not entirely perfect, but not that far off of exactly what transpired against her!
 
It must be true...the pinheads just don't understand euphemisms....how they are used, and what they mean in the context they are used ...

my ex-sister in law and my nephews are jewish - i rarely use upper case for much of anything except for acronyms, abbreviations, or initialism - i also attend jewish services when the spirit moves

She didn't wait til after the memorial, and what fucking difference does that even make here? What she said, fit appropriately, with what the MSM has been doing since the shootings took place. Palin isn't out of line in saying this, YOU are out of line in attempting to (again) condemn her for something because you dislike her politics! The analogy to 'blood libel' fits perfectly in this case, and it's the LIBERALS and MSM who should be ASHAMED of their behavior, not Sarah Palin!

No it's not, and you know that is a flat out LIE! This comes from left-wing liberal socialist Jews, who voted for and support Democrats in every election, regardless! Here's the breakdown for ya... about 85% of the country (Jews included) are not offended by Palin's comment, and don't feel the shootings in AZ had a damn thing to do with "tone of rhetoric" in politics. Of the other 15%, about 40% of them, weren't offended by her comment, but think the discourse has become to heated in politics. That leaves about 7%... which is about the percentage of the population which suffers from some mental retardation. You are obviously among that lot.

It's not a derogatory term in the context she used it, nor could it be construed as one. You comparing racial epithets to the term, is weak, even for you. And I am quite sure Sarah Palin was as offended as any Jewish person, when the MSM was applying a 'blood libel' to her!

Sarah Palin said it because it was apropos. She doesn't have a speech writer, she doesn't need a speech writer, she is smarter in her little pinky finger than you are in your whole brain... retard!

I think you are absolutely wrong to say she did/does not know what it means and in the context of recent events it is not so far off. Blood libel is not derogatory-it's descriptive of a "mob" behavior to incite hate.

Blood libel, accusing Jews of using the blood of innocents in their sacrifices (Christian children) in order to whip up hate against them is the idea behind Palin's usage.
