I remember the first Bush/Gore debate. I was actually kind of stunned; I was amazed that someone like Dubya could actually get the nomination, and I actually felt bad, because I knew there was no way - like no WAY - that he could be elected President.

And then he was elected President. Twice.

So, yeah - Sarah Palin can definitely be President...

Bush was very well connected too. And the fact that his Dad had been VP and Prez couldn't hurt.

The idea of president Palin is too scary to comprehend.

Regarding broken nails I received the following education from a gal pal.

While men may laugh when a woman complains about a broken nail it does not necessarily mean the nail was just chipped or a piece broken off. A broken nail may well be a nail that has split resulting in the nail pulling on the skin underneath which is why they frequently say, "Ouch!"

Just thought I'd pass this along as it's not polite to laugh should this occur. Furthermore, it may well result in one going home alone which is all the reason in the world not to laugh!! :)
