Clever isn't necessarily intelligence. Clever is more like the ability of a con man or a sociopath to quickly assess others' weaknesses, and exploit them. #TRE45ON, for example, is clever in that way but no one would ever accuse him of being intelligent. $arah Palin is the same way, although less sociopathic. She just figured out what a certain segment of the voters want to hear, and panders to that. Like Trump, she's fake as hell, but very good at appealing to those she's selected as marks.

Even in the US there's a clear difference in "IQ" between kids having 12 years of good, middle-class schools versus those who attend poor, lower-income schools.

That said, yes, she's manipulative and knows how to con men AKA use her "womanly wiles". Sure, that can be a form of intelligence since she has been successful at it. When she way busy tweeting while her underage daughter was getting pregnant upstairs, that tells me she's not clever in all ways.

Still, aside from the males, including yours truly, who will enjoy the comedic jiggle-fest, I strongly doubt she'll amount to much. That form of ideology worked before Trump, and is a direct line to Trump's election, but I doubt it will work post-Trump. Americans are seeing the dangers of letting fanatics off their leash and what war does to modern cities. Only the nutjobs and wannabe child-murderers will favor imploding our nation.

PS Most conservative women are modest in their dress. The fanatics flaunt their assets. I expect to see a lot of assets on display during Palin's run for Congress and pray it will be a long run.
