Santorum blames abortion for Social Security woes

Well little mr. You have Santorum wrong- He called it an "abortion culture" combined with design flaws in SS...he is right. The culture created by abortion is one where family and marriage is not valued- children and relationships are disposable. Healthy family structures create prosperity. Mind you, he never claimed that this in and of itself is the problem...but it lends to the problem.

He says the system has design flaws, but the reason it is in big trouble is that there aren't enough workers to support retirees. He blamed that on what he called the nation's abortion culture. He says that culture, coupled with policies that do not support families, deny America what it needs _ more people.

What complete and total dribble. Just because one believes a woman has a right to choose doesn't mean one is antifamily. That's just right wing partisan braind dead horse shit.

The same facts for declining birth rates in both Europe and the US have the same cause. It's FREAKEN EXPENSIVE AS HELL TO RAISE KIDS HERE and that is what discourages more people from having more children. I know plenty of couples who would love to have more kids but don't cause they can't afford them. I know lots of young couples who would love to start a family but haven't cause they simply can't afford it making entry level wages.

No moron... you are the one that called him that. I was mocking his followers blind devotion by calling him the messiah. YOU quoted it and wrote 'fixed that' for you.... and had changed 'the messiah' to 'uppity nigger'

So not only are you a racist, but you are also a pathetic liar.

Apparently you are also going to toss ignorant on top of liar and racist as well given that ANYONE can go back to the hoops thread and see what you did.

You ignorant lying racist piece of shit.
But that's just it. Hardly anyone follows the man with blind devotion like they did with Bush and the fact you didn't underscores the racism in your comment. Hell, no less a conservative then George Will stated for the record that wingnuts call him the Messiah cause they think he's an uppity niger.

I didn't.... Mott changed one of my statements from 'the messiah' to his racist views. It was on the Hoops thread regarding the hype over Obama's picks.

It's not like I believed you had said that. I just wanted Mott to see if he could produce any evidence other than his firm and Faithful Belief that anybody who disagrees with The Messiah must be a racist.

Which might be true if we were worried about his skin color rather than his terrible Domestic Policy and wholesale hypocrisy when considering unilateral attacks with minimum coalitions.

The use of the term "abortion culture" is hardly new to Santorum. It is the idea that in this culture lies a breakdown of the family-any number of scholarly papers have been written on the subject. The complicated nature of socio-economic impacts of abortion are no new concept either. Of course children are expensive to raise-especially in a world where more and more taxation is expected to pay for public employee benefits and other expensive entitlements like medicare-add to this an insolvent social security...see how everything we do can be connected economically to one another? Women going to work required another service industry-namely child care. So having children became too expensive unless perhaps you limit it to 1 or 2 children(declining birth rate). Many women complain that their take home is almost not worth the expense to work after day care, gas and clothes for work costs are deducted. This is all part of what Santorum refers to as the "abortion culture". The attitude of "kids" are too expensive to have- and if in the womb they are expendable. Too, we have a culture where not only kids in the womb are expendable, but also marriage- Again solid familes are integral to a sound economy. All of these issues make for an attitude that lends to falling birth rates which will and do impact social security because of how social security is designed.

When it comes to more people all that has to be done is increase the immigration rate.

As for "Healthy family structures create prosperity" the reasons family structures create prosperity is because families work together. Family members support each other. While each member is free to pursue their interests each member is aware maximum benefit is realized when the "unit" benefits. What is stupefying is while that is almost universally understood society is geared to operate counter to that principal.

1) For the 1000th time Mr. Racist.... calling Obama 'the Messiah' has NOTHING to do with Obama or as you like to focus on... Obama's skin pigmentation. It has to do with all his blind followers during the election campaign. It is mocking THEM, not Obama.

2) Bottom line, we know you are a racist and you do as well. You are trying desperately to project your racist thoughts onto those who disagree with you. It is sad and pathetic on your part. You even start a poll that you want to limit to 'non-Caucasian' members???? Were you trying to single them out? Why so focused on what a person's skin tone is rather than simply looking to the content of their postings? Why so focused on race Mott?

3) Racists are simple minded hate filled cowards. So you have to ask yourself.... Do you really want to continue being a cowardly racist? Or are you going to join the grown ups in the 21st century?

how bout we quit borrowing from SS, or charge interest payable to the fund.
Invest the fund, instead of zero interest loans for graft.
