My hope and motivation at this time is to limit whatever damage Drumpf can do. And the threat posed by the Orange Clown to the environment, to America's reputation, to our foreign policy, and to civil rights and economic justice is substantial, and perhaps in the case of global warming, irreversible. We have never seen a more inarticulate, willfully ignorant, and more incompetent fool than Drumpf in the White House, so this is uncharted territory for all.
In the intermediate and long term, the old white people and octagenarians that propelled the Orange Clown to
electoral college victory are going to die off. Become extinct. Hopefully, just like banjo music, moonshine, depends undergarments, and other cultural artifacts of Generation Hillbilly.
Young people voted overwhelmingly for Clinton, and this last presidential election may be one of the last times the angry, old, white demographic has enough influence to sway an election. It will likely provide fertile ground for future historians to delve into the causes of voter ignorance and the resultant election of the worst president in American history!
