the compassion of the right in this country is underwhelming
oh please. where is this compassion lacking? The logistics were SNAFU on the ground by the locals

The San Juan mayor is a politician -she's making NOISE to maybe get more attention for her governor run?

The military excels at logistics. Where were they? That's right. Under control of Orangetweet.

what would you have them do -amphibious landings -and then what without transport?

US support is a pipeline, and a narrow one at that with only seaport and air. It looks like the locals were flat footed.

I realize you've never been through a hurricane, the CAT 1 that hit Florida did little structural damage
but still took a week to get back power. Compare this to PR.

2 hurricanes hit PR back to back - and the 2nd one literally destroyed everything.
Wake up and understand this was worse then a war zone the damage was extensive to every sector.
Housing/transportation/fuel/power..nothing was left untouched or wiped out

The military can set up minor cities in days. Quit making excuses for the shitty response of Trump and his administration.

Tossing out rolls of paper towels? Really?

what good is "setting up a city?" - the aid has to get to the people. As it is food and water is getting there.
But nothing can get done until the streets are passable.

You are clinging to some failed desperate desire to see the island suffer more so you can blame Trump

It's all Trump's fault, dammit lol.

The more they promote that bullshit story, the angrier Puerto Ricans become.

After Hurricane Maria, Puerto Rican vote looms large in 2018

Puerto Ricans are a very politically active people, and in spite of what Trump and his supporters claim, Puerto Ricans know better.

Puerto Ricans Are Streaming Into Florida And They Aren’t Exactly Fans Of Donald Trump
Observers think Puerto Rican voters could even swing the election.

Congrats. You're the newest member of the Katrina Kids Klub (KKK). Reserved for Trump and FEMA apologists who won't recognize how Orangetweet's people have fucked up this recovery.

The Thumper, Whateverthefuck America, is the president. You may seek other offices.
