Same Sex Marriages

Basically it's the sin of Onanism. If it's a sin to not "go forth and multiply", that would include the barren women, infertile men and those men who cum in women's mouths.

Onanism is a sin by deliberate action, a deliberate waste.

Unless a person is infertile by choice, such as sterilization, then it's not a willful act. Ergo, no sin.

That's the Christian POV, not mine. I believe in choice as long as it doesn't harm others...unless they deserve it. :)

Homosexual men have had children since forever.

And you made a point about it being a willful act. We all "wasted" them constantly.

I mean really come to think of it... people who don't follow the directive of "go forth and be fruitful and multiply" commit the sin that is equivalent of homosexual sex.

So pretty much 99.9% of the population are as worse as homosexuals.

Fun fact: the law was set in place because they were in the desert for 40 years and sperms were precious.

Agreed. The acts are prohibited for the same reasons. Basically, never harm the tribe and always carry your weight.

That's why very old or very sick people of tribal societies would often wander off into the wilderness to die - so they wouldn't drag down the tribe....and if they didn't do it on their own, some tribes would help them. ;)

Deplorables are heavily biased by their experience with white anglo Saxon Protestantism and their lack of knowledge of Christian history and theology.

Protestantism is a minority Christian faith in the world.

Protestants, and Protestants uniquely, insist the bible is the sole authority on matters of theology.

Other faith traditions do not elevate the bible as the sole authority on matters of religion and faith. In the Catholic tradition, there is two thousand years of writings by the Church fathers, papal decrees, Vatican councils, ecclesiastical councils which establish accepted Christian theology and practice.

All of which places mortal opinion level with the word of God. This is not unlike mohammadans putting his scripture level with or above islamic scripture (also happens to include the Bible).
Youre really just making my case.

By "word of God" you mean the Bible? The one that was assembled over 300 years after the execution of Jesus?

Your still making the same mistake in assuming the Bible is the sole and inerrant authority on how to live as an authentic Christian.

That is a Protestant view of Christianity, and Protestants are a minority sect in the world Christian faith tradition.

It is not your fault. You live in USA which is heavily biased towards the white Anglo Saxon Protestant tradition, and you undoubtedly never had any interest in studying world religions or history of Christianity.

That is why message board bible thumpers relentlessly quote the bible.

And includes the actual teaching of the Messiah, who IS God by definition.

None of which were actually written by the apostles and all of which were written 50-100 years after the death of Jesus.

Jesus allegedly named himself as God just like Trump named himself "the Chosen One". Jesus never wrote anything that's in the Bible.

No. You have bought into the idea that the church is of greater significance than God.
