What I said: The supreme court said that even prisoners have a right to marriage.

States cannot block that right.

I was not referring to the right of same sex couples because -duh - the supreme court hasn't ruled on it yet.

Given that mixed race couples and prisoners have a right to marriage, I don't know why the SC would deny it to same sex couples, but they have not yet ruled on it.

So is the SC the official arbiter of everything for you. Basically, your god?
