Does the taking of land ever justify the use of military force? I think we would agree yes.
Until the US had smart tech weapons it had dumb tech too and used it. Japan tried to take land in WWII.
I must infer you believe the US was not justified in firebombing Tokyo and dropping nukes on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Those weapons weren't very good combatant discriminators either.

The whole thing would have been done and dusted by now if not for Hamas. I truly cannot understand why anybody could support such a horrific and barbaric organisation. Same goes for Hezbollah and the mullahs in Iran. As a woman you'd detest have to live under those repressive regimes yet say nothing about the horrific human right abuses. I've never been able to get my head around that!

Well you just switched our goalpost. You were analyzing the acts of Hamas. Your response to my loose comparison now is comparing Israel to mercantile colonialism of the 1600-1700s.

Shorter answer, because I don't have a time machine. 1/2 of Israel pop is against the punitive actions of their govt too.

My solution? Move Israel somewhere where all their neighbors don't hate their guts. Sweeten the deal by providing much more real estate in the new locale.
New Israel can be next to Utah. Give them Colorado. Problem solved. (Because you won't like my eradicate all religion idea)
